E.L.F. Designs was born from one young man's passion for lights, his love for his community, and his determination to make a difference. This is Michael's story — and ours.
Where It All Began
Michael's Passion That Started It All
Michael has loved lights his entire life. Growing up with serious health challenges — including Type-1 diabetes — he channeled that love into something extraordinary. He began decorating the front of our home with holiday lights, and word spread fast. Cars lined up down the street. Neighbors brought their families. The magic was undeniable.
What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a community tradition. Michael launched the Cedar Lane Holiday Light Show — an annual display that ran for more than 11 years and drew visitors from across the region, much like the Great Christmas Light Fight. But Michael did not stop at creating a spectacle. He turned the show into a fundraiser for Type-1 diabetes research, raising meaningful support for the foundation and the families it helps.
The Cedar Lane Holiday Light Show has its own Facebook group with thousands of followers — a testament to the joy and community it created. And it was those very visitors, standing in front of our home in awe, who asked: “Can you do this for my house?” That question launched E.L.F. Designs.

Michael's giving spirit didn't stop with the light show. Each year, E.L.F. Designs proudly provides professional DJ services and full event lighting for Camp Possibilities — a special camp that creates life-changing experiences for its campers.
From the first beat of the music to the last sparkle of the lights, our goal is simple: give every camper a night they'll never forget. We bring the same care and professionalism to Camp Possibilities that we bring to every client — because every person deserves to feel the magic of a perfectly lit moment.
